Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of recognition as a fiddler happened in the year 1990 when she was 19 years old and got the Grammy in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. Her third album, I've Got That Old Feeling earned her the award even though she was only 19 years young. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It came out in Champaign Illinois at the age of 16. When she was 14, she signed an agreement in the form of Rounder Records - one of the world's most respected folk-based labels. Krauss's achievements at such a youthful age, as well as her virtuosity, have been consistently matched by the fact that she's been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of the oldest and least well-known musical genres. Krauss as a teenager phenom, had become a professional musician as well as a producer. Alison Alison Alison
