Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, and film actor. She was born on January 31st, 1937 to January 19th, 2008. Pleshette began her professional career in the theater, and she appeared in films during the latter half of the 1950s. Later, she appeared in notable films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she was a part of various television productions, often as a guest actor, and played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, receiving several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City, on January 31, 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer, who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers.
