Dennings was dating Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". She started dating Josh Groban after their breakup. They remained together until the year 2016. Dennings as well as Andrew W.K. met in early 2021. The couple soon began getting together. They announced their commitment to one another in May 2021. Dennings has been a big fan since the year 2014. Dennings admits that even though she is Jewish and grew to be part of the Jewish community on a cultural and ethnic level, religion does not form a large part in her everyday day life. Dennings has many hobbies, including gardening, painting and reading. At the beginning of her life the initial plan she had to enter art school was foiled when a flood destroyed all of her artwork. Then, she took this flood as a sign, and decided to pursue a career as an actor instead. She isn't a drinker or smoke and enjoys Transcendental meditation.
