Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer known for the roles she performed in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She earned the B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actress, producer and director who works in television and film. Her career began in theater and later appeared in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance on BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she was the first to appear in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include The Broadway show of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her role in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
